LEMON PIE

Ingredients:

4 or 5 eggs

1 ½ cups sugar

3 tablespoons boiling water

1 dessertspoon butter

juice of 3 lemons

Method

Beat sugar and eggs. Add boiling water and butter. Lastly add lemon juice. Pour into deep tart tin lined with a good short crust pastry. Bake in moderate oven until filling sets.
